The Haryana Aquagym Fusion Championship is a first-of-its-kind multi-discipline state event designed to identify and promote all-round athletic excellence across Haryana. This championship seamlessly integrates Swimming and Gymnastics, two sports that together test an athlete’s speed, endurance, strength, balance, flexibility, and overall coordination.

Participants compete in two structured segments—an aquatic performance round followed by a gymnastics routine. Each athlete’s final ranking is determined using a standardized scoring system that evaluates performance across both sports, encouraging well-rounded development and cross-disciplinary competency.

Event Structure

1. Swimming Segment

• Athletes participate in a 100m freestyle race.

• Performance is assessed based on:

  • Time taken to complete the race

  • Stroke efficiency

  • Start and turn technique

  • Endurance and pacing

• All swimming events follow FINA-aligned rules adopted for state-level competition.

2. Gymnastics Segment

• Athletes perform a Floor Exercise routine, with optional elements adapted to age categories.

• Performance is evaluated on:

  • Execution (landing, posture, transitions)

  • Difficulty level of the routine

  • Strength and flexibility

  • Artistic presentation and rhythm

• Judging follows FIG-based scoring guidelines, simplified for state competition.

Scoring System

• Swimming Score (50%) + Gymnastics Score (50%) = Final Championship Score

• Both segments use a point conversion model to ensure fairness across sports.

• The top-performing athletes with the highest combined score are awarded the Haryana Aquagym Fusion titles.
